In 1st thru 3rd grade, students at Our Lady of Prompt Succor School sharpen their learning and thinking skills.  This is done with various hands-on activities, as well as focusing on the progression of learning.  Each student receives an individual Chromebook to assist in reaching their learning goals.  

In 1st and 3rd grade, our ELA curriculum, HMH Into Reading, incorporates reading, phonics, grammar, and spelling in weekly lessons.  Students are taught to interact with the various texts in order to master a variety of comprehension skills.  The math curriculum, Eureka, ensures students have a conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts.  Sophia Institute, Spirit of Truth, curriculum guides the students through our beautiful Catholic faith.  Social studies and science standards are taught to the children using a variety of resources and connected with various texts from Reading.
