National Beta members from Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic School are celebrating their recent participation in the Louisiana Elementary & Junior Beta State Convention. They were announced as winners of the following competitions:
- Graham P. election as the Elementary Beta President.
- Molly Kate S. 1st position in the State for the Performing Arts Vocalist Solo category in Jr. Beta.
- 5th grader Campaign Skit secured 1st place!
- Liam T. 3rd place win in the Recyclable Art competition.
- Elementary Book Battle Team 3rd place
- Elementary Musicology Team 4th place finish
National Beta State Convention allows students the opportunity to compete in various academic and STEM-based, virtual and performing arts competitions. These victories at the state level provide an opportunity to compete at the national level. National Convention will be held at the Savannah International Convention Center in Savannah, GA during Summer 2024.
We proudly sent over 40 students to the State Beta Convention. It was an incredible experience, and we are thrilled to share that our students participated wholeheartedly. Among them were numerous participants from the Elementary Level (5th Grade) and Jr. Level (6th Grade), who submitted exceptional work that was assessed and scored at the state level. We are bursting with pride for all of them!
