Title I Program Description

The Title I program provides services for targeted assisted students at Our Lady of Prompt Succor School in the areas of reading and math. Mrs. Theresa Lafleur is the teacher.

Title I Goal

The Title I program is striving to meet its goal of making one NCE gain on the Stanford Achievement Test with 80% of the Title I participants at Our Lady of Prompt Succor School.

The Title I teacher and the regular classroom teacher coordinate efforts to maximize the educational experiences of the Title I participants. Hands-on activities, computer programs, and basal materials are used to enhance learning. Small group and individualized instruction are employed to re-teach specific skills identified on unit reading/math tests. The academic progress of the students receiving Title I services will be measured by a combination of assessment instruments in order to accurately reflect the progress of the students.
